Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico (MBFWMx) is joining the festivities surrounding The Walt Disney Company's 100th anniversary by paying a special tribute. As part of this celebration, 11 Mexican designers have created capsule collections inspired by the renowned stories from Disney Studios, seamlessly blending the realms of fashion and animation. The highly anticipated presentation of these collections will serve as the grand finale of the upcoming MBFWMx edition, taking place at the prestigious Soumaya Museum in Mexico City on October 16th. Following the runway show, the fashion pieces will be exhibited to the general public for a month within the museum, starting from October 19th.
Eleven Mexican designers take participation, Adriana Macías, Alexia Ulibarri, Anuar Layon, Armando Takeda, Benito Santos, Daniel Herranz, Diego Zúñiga, Macario Jiménez, Pink Magnolia, Vero Solís, and Vero Diaz in the event titled "The Disney Gala: Celebrating Animation in Style." Additionally, to complement the project, a limited edition collection inspired by eleven iconic Disney films will be launched by these designers. This special collection will be exclusively available for purchase at the renowned department store chain, Sears. Disney is not just a brand, it's a magical world where dreams come true and imagination knows no bounds.
