Their Love Story:

Prince Nikolaos  and Tatiana Blatnik first crossed paths at a New Year's Eve party in Switzerland. This chance encounter sparked a romantic connection that would endure for seven years. In December 2009, Prince Nicolás proposed to the young Venezuelan with a stunning sapphire ring that once belonged to Queen Ingrid of Denmark. The couple exchanged vows in August 2010, in a grand ceremony that garnered significant attention as it marked the first Greek royal wedding in 70 years.

The wedding was a social spectacle, with esteemed guests in attendance, including Victoria of Bourbon-Parma, Prince Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella Windsor, Empress Farah Diba, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden, Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. Notably, the entire Spanish royal family was also present, with Queen Sofía being Prince Nicolás's aunt.

Despite their decision to part ways as a couple, Prince Nikolaos and Tatiana Blatnik have expressed their intention to continue living and working in Greece, a place they both consider home. They emphasized that their family would always be by their side, providing support during this transitional period.

As news of their divorce spreads, it is important for the public and media to respect the privacy of Prince Nikolaos  and Tatiana Blatnik. Their request for privacy is a reminder that behind the titles and public personas, they are individuals navigating a difficult personal situation.
